What's Up Nephewww

Next generations are always precious.  Some of us never even have a child, from those that cannot to those who can but do not wish to and many other reasons in between.  I would like to have a child myself, but definitely not anytime soon, however, if I wait too long, it may never happen.  Aside from all that, I will forever love being the uncle.  Being the uncle lets you have the fun of children, and when it gets time for the fussing and crying, you can just give them back to mommy and daddy; much like what grandparents get to enjoy.  Just call me "Uncle G" and let the fun begin.

Speaking as Uncle G, these are my two nephews, Aden and Alexander; two flawless jewels of my life.  These gems that I have seen born into this world shine and shimmer brighter with every day and every breath they take.  It would just melt your heart every time when you heard the words "Uncle G" or the giggling coos when an infant looks directly into your eyes.  There is nothing like it in the world.

It was hard to say goodbye to them, but it really was not goodbye as it was more like an "until next time" my loved ones, and it is heart and mind settling knowing that they are in the hands of two of the most capable and beautiful people I have had the pleasure of calling family.  I could not ask for anyone better of a pair for these boys and am really proud of how far you have come.  You know it is not goodbye as it really is just until next time we meet.  And to my little angels: I may not always be by your side physically, but I will always be with you.  You are always with Uncle G and in his thoughts as I just think of you, and you are there.  Do the same and you will always have me by your side.

Always with the deepest love, your Uncle G

  1. NOW THAT'S WHAT'S UP! We've been following your blog. So glad you made one! We had such a great time when you were here and miss you very much. Hope all is going well. Aden still mentions Uncle G. He says, "Uncle G went home" and I say yep. He is hitting the highways and byways and the earth under his feet and the sky overhead, wherever that may be, is where his home is. So, I bid you adieu and safe journys even though you WILL be hearing from me. Peace out from the Bailey Clan.
