The Open Road

It is the beginning of a new chapter.  There is nothing now but the open road in front of me with Tallahassee behind me.  I will miss Tally with all my family & friends, but it is finally time for a change, time to do what I have always wanted to do and travel the world as it is my oyster, and I am looking for those pearls.  It is time to create a new starting point: if you stay on the current path, you will end up where you started as that is the nature of the circle, so change it up and create a new circle to travel upon.  I believe then you are creating not a circle but a spiral as you can never completely leave any part of your life, a previous circle. 

I will never leave my past circles, but I no longer wish to do the same thing over and over again.  That is the most appealing thing about traveling because you never know what you are going to come upon.  It is through my travels that have opened my eyes to new opportunities, and then finally one day I decided to actually go through with it. The inspiration to this journey I would say had began with the Alaskan cruise, a vacation that I have always promised to a very special person in my life: Mommy!  Having done that, it made me feel like I had completed my unfinished business in Tallahassee for the time being; that I could leave with no regrets.
